Survey types
A first-flight NDVI map of a new plot or a newly acquired estate, used to establish what "normal" looks like before you compare later flights against it.
Scheduled repeat flights through a growing season — monthly or at key growth stages — tracked against the baseline to show where a block is trending down.
Targeted flights over blocks with a known outbreak history, flagging stress signatures before an infestation is visible from the ground.
Canopy density and vigour data combined with plot area to model expected yield ahead of harvest planning and logistics.
Process
Share the plot boundary, crop type and what you're checking for — general health, a specific outbreak, or pre-harvest yield.
We plan the flight grid and altitude for the crop canopy, and handle any local airspace clearance needed.
Multispectral and RGB capture across the plot, typically same-day for holdings up to a few hundred acres.
Bands are stitched and processed into NDVI/NDRE maps, checked against your chosen health thresholds.
Heat map, flagged-zone list and, if requested, a spray-ready prescription file — delivered within 48 hours.
Where we fly
Domestic surveys are flown directly by SaveCrop's own DGCA-certified pilots. Outside India, we scope the plot remotely and fly through a vetted local operator, so the same NDVI methodology and report format apply wherever the field is.
Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra, with arecanut, coconut, oil palm, rubber, cotton and cereal experience.
Plot scoping and report analysis handled by SaveCrop; the flight itself is contracted to a local certified operator in your country.
